SMDSA X YDSA @ TXST 2022 Voter Guide

As socialists, we know that elections are only one arena in which the working class can exercise power. However, with abortion rights, labor rights, and so much more on the line, we feel it is crucial for everyone to cast their ballot to reduce harm to the working class. Unless explicitly stated, these reccomendations are not endorsements. As a socialist organization, we only endorse candidates who are eager to run unapologetically as socialists. Instead, we are reccomending candidates who we feel will contribute the least harm, and those who will make crucial decisions like refusing to enforce Texas' abortion bans. We have huge reservations and criticisms of most of these candidates, but feel that it is important to keep these offices out of Republican hands, especially regarding issues like abortion rights and enforcing the state's immoral abortion ban. On the other hand, some of these candidates, despite not recieving our official endorsement, have shown themselves to be trustworthy allies of DSA and the socialist and labor movements at-large.
